THE STUDIO

Thoughtfully designed.
Individually built.

Good Landing Studio is an independent design and development studio for businesses ready for a better website. You work directly with the studio creating it, from the first conversation to launch and handoff.

THE IDEA COMES FIRST.

Your business.
A clear plan.

We start with what your customers need to do: find you, understand an offer, book a service or choose a product. That task shapes the website, the design and the systems behind it.

01 / DISCOVER

Find what matters.

We define the pages, content, features and integrations together. Your written proposal sets out the scope, milestones, costs and responsibilities.

02 / DESIGN & BUILD

Make it tangible.

Review a working website as it takes shape. Try the pages and interactions, share feedback and refine the agreed design with the studio.

03 / LAUNCH & CARE

Get every detail ready.

Check the agreed customer journeys, connect the required services and prepare the launch. Ownership, recurring costs and update responsibilities are agreed before handoff.

A named studio contact stays with your project. We agree who approves the work, when you’ll review it and how feedback becomes the next version. Before launch, you know who controls the accounts, how to request changes and who maintains each system.

DESIGN DECISIONS, MADE VISIBLE

A good interaction
has a reason.

These self-initiated concepts explore a customer task and show the thinking behind the experience.

01 / FORM

See what changes.

Material, profile and width update the ring as you choose. The design keeps the product in view and gives every choice a visible result.

The customer task
Compare options and build a clear product specification.
For a real store
Connect the approved catalog, pricing and checkout.
Try the product concept
02 / STILL HOUSE

Know what’s included.

Dates, rooms and experiences come together in an itemized stay. Capacity checks and visible totals help make the next choice clear.

The customer task
Explore a stay and understand how its price is built.
For a real property
Connect live availability, property policies and reservations.

WHAT COMES WITH THE WEBSITE

Inside a handoff.

Your website should be easy to take over and care for. The handoff explains account access, everyday updates, connected services and where to get help. Open the sample below to see the detail.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

A useful record.
Long after launch.

  1. Ownership, in writing. Domain, hosting, files and licensed assets.
  2. Connections, explained. What lives on your website and in other services.
  3. Updates, made clear. Who changes what, and how it reaches your customers.

Your proposal defines your own deliverables and responsibilities.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE / SMALL SERVICE BUSINESS

This sample shows the decisions a handoff can record. It is not a completed client project or a standard package. The accepted proposal defines the actual work.

A four-page website that explains services and helps visitors make contact or open the business’s existing booking service.

Agreed scope
Home, Services, About and Contact pages; inquiry form; link to the existing booking service. Custom booking software, customer accounts and ongoing content changes are outside this sample scope.
Ownership and access
Domain and hosting account: business-controlled in this example, with studio access by invitation. Website files: handoff location and usage rights recorded in the proposal. Fonts, images and other licensed assets: source and applicable license recorded separately.
Connected services
Booking: visitors leave the website to use the existing provider; availability, confirmations and cancellation rules stay there. Inquiries: form delivery provider and destination inbox recorded, with a delivery check agreed before launch. Provider subscriptions and renewal responsibility listed separately.
Content updates
Website wording, photographs and opening hours: updated in the website files by the agreed maintainer, then reviewed and published. No self-service editor is included in this example. Booking availability and service information: maintained by the business in its booking provider; any repeated website information is updated separately.
Launch checks
Record the actual date, result and any open issue for mobile layout, keyboard navigation, links, inquiry receipt and the booking destination. This sample has no completed checks.
Files and recovery
Record where the website files, asset notes, latest source archive and release history are held, plus who can restore an earlier release. Account access is shared separately.
Care and future changes
Record the chosen maintainer, how to request a change and any separately agreed care scope and charges. New pages or integrations are scoped before work begins. Response arrangements are agreed for the project.

Before handoff: confirm account control, content approval, provider costs, check results and any remaining work. Record acceptance and responsible roles in the project record.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

A few useful
answers.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes, when we include a content editor or build on a platform you can manage. You can make the agreed everyday updates yourself, such as changing text or photos. For a simpler site, the agreed maintainer can update and publish its files. Your proposal identifies what you can edit, where you edit it and which changes need studio help. The sample handoff on this page illustrates the file-based option.

How would I run an online store?

For a Shopify project, your team can manage products, variants, prices, stock and orders in Shopify admin. We agree the storefront design, catalog setup and everyday update workflows your project includes. Checkout configuration, payment setup and any migration are scoped and tested separately.

Try a simplified store management demo to see the connection between stock, the storefront and a sample order. It illustrates the workflow; it is not Shopify admin or a connected store.

Can you redesign a website I already own?

Yes. We begin with the pages, content and tools you already use. The plan identifies what stays, what changes and whether a platform move is needed. It includes agreed redirects for changed page addresses, ownership and access, launch checks and a recovery plan.

Can you work with my booking or membership system?

We start by reviewing the system you use. A direct booking link, an embedded flow or a deeper integration may be appropriate. The exact connection, access and vendor costs are confirmed in the project scope.

What does a website cost?

We quote around the pages, content, features and integrations your project needs. Your proposal separates the build, any content or imagery you need, optional ongoing care and third-party costs such as domains, email or booking software.

To explore fit, tell us what customers should be able to do, what you already have and any systems you need to keep. We can discuss an initial scope and budget indication before developing the full proposal. You don’t need a finished brief or a budget figure to start.

How long does a website take?

For a focused business website, allow around 2–4 weeks once the scope and content are ready. This is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Larger sites, content creation and custom integrations can take longer. We agree on milestones and a launch window before work starts.

What happens after the site goes live?

We review any domain, hosting and accounts you already have, then agree what stays and who controls each account. Your proposal and handoff record website-file rights, licensed assets, recurring costs and who changes what. Ongoing care is optional and defined in writing, including the work it covers, how to request help and response arrangements. Additional pages, features and integrations are agreed separately before work starts.
